We started Infinity Bees because we believe the world is better with more bees in it — and better honey on your table. Based in Bergvliet, we work within one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on earth.
Infinity Bees is Cape Town based and family owned. It was established by Rourke, our young son, many years ago. Ongoing life changes and moving to the US, he left his hives to his mum which became a fervent passionate Bee keeper; Beekeeping grew in her and sub consequently the Hives portfolio; Being her husband I was reeled in and have also become a Beekeeper and integrate part of the daily operations. She and I have been mentored and partnered with James VDM, a Beekeeper which has + 50 years’ experience, thus enabling us to understand fully the trade, although you learn every day. Audrey has become an important actor and recognized Beekeeper in SA Beekeeping circles and built a wide network which has invaluable assets in many aspects of this particular and fragile trade.
We support responsible and sustainable beekeeping and we keep up to date with the latest in beekeeping developments and technology.
We are fully registered and compliant with the Western Cape Bee Industry Association (WCBA).
Bee Swarm or Hive Removal
We provide professional and safe swarm and hive removal so as collection services in the WC region and beyond (On demand). We do not kill bees or destroy their nests. Rather, we remove, rehouse and relocate them in new healthy natural environments. We try not to collect swarms after late summer as their survival rate is low and it may be best to leave them where they are until spring. However, in circumstances where they are impeding pathways or disturbing people we will remove them. We are specialized in extreme removals and will always play the safety card in priority.

Wasp Removal
We provide professional extermination of invasive WASP’s such as the European German paper Wasp. Not only they are a plague in our gardens and houses here in Cape Town but they also are responsible for harming our native Bee populations as well as killing many beneficial Spider species. German Wasps are aggressive and dangerous, when they sting they release toxins that may be harmful to humans, birds, dogs and cats. We are specialized in extreme removals and will always play the safety card in priority.

Ethical beekeeping
We never over-harvest. Every removal is a rescue — we relocate bees to safe, productive hives. Our harvesting calendar follows the bees, not the market. The colony always comes first.
All our honey products, health products and body products are made from our own honey and beeswax, straight from our very own healthy hives. From our hives the honey goes to our honey room and the settling tanks, then we package it and it goes straight to your home.
No added processes means our honey might contain pollen specks and small wax flecks. Our products are made with all natural ingredients that are ethically and responsibly sourced. Spoil yourself or get the perfect honey gift.
